Hey y’all! I’m assuming you’ve come across this page to learn some things about me.  My name is Rachel Van Amburg and I’m a student at Lipscomb University, down in Nashville, Tennessee.  I’m still getting adjusted to living in the Music City, but everything I thought about it was so inaccurate.  Coming to Nashville, I figured everything was all country: the people, the music, the culture overall.  However, I couldn’t have been more wrong!  There’s such a diverse music scene and the people, much friendlier than those in Indiana (my home), come from so many backgrounds.  There’s where the purpose of this blog begins.  My goal is to explore all types of music that aren’t country, starting in Nashville, but including the rest of the US as well.  My passion for music has taken me to over 50 concerts & I hope to share my experiences and opinions with my readers!
